A protein tracker for Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro
Tilly is a free protein tracker for people on a GLP-1 medication such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro or Zepbound, on iPhone and Android. You type a meal the way you would say it, “two eggs and toast”, and Tilly counts its protein toward your daily target, in the same journal as your shot day and side effects.

Why protein, on a GLP-1
These medications take the appetite away, and the calories mostly look after themselves. What does not is where the lost weight comes from, and some of it can be muscle. Eating enough protein, and using your muscles, is what tilts it toward fat. Guidance for people on GLP-1 medications lands between 80 and 120 grams a day, which is more than most people eat on a small appetite. How much protein, and where the number comes from.
How Tilly counts it
- Write the meal in a sentence. “Greek yogurt with berries”, “half a chicken wrap”. Tilly reads the foods and the portions and counts the protein, and the day’s total sits under your meals. A barcode reads the label, and a photo or a sentence said out loud works too.
- See what is left today. A ring fills toward your target, and it says the grams to go, never a score. Tilly suggests the target from your weight, and you can set your own.
- Protein first, on a small appetite. With the grams left in view, it is easy to start with the protein on the plate and leave the rest for later.
- See the week. Trends shows protein by day next to your weight and your doses, and the doctor report says how many days you reached your target.

Next to your shot day
A food tracker counts protein. What a GLP-1 tracker adds is the rest of the week around it. Tilly keeps your shot or pill, where it went, side effects and how the day felt in the same journal as the meals, and reminds you on shot day. So a pattern such as eating less the two days after a shot shows up on its own, and so does the day the protein came back.
What is free
Free: typed meals, the barcode scanner, the protein ring, Trends, the doctor report and Apple Health. Three meals by photo, three questions to Tilly and five meals by voice a week. Premium: $59.99 a year with 7 days free, or $9.99 a month, for hundreds of those a month.
Where it falls short: it is new in 2026, so it has far fewer ratings than the apps below. Protein on a typed meal is an estimate, where a barcode reads the label. On Android it doesn’t read Health Connect yet, and there is no web or watch app.
Other apps that track protein on a GLP-1
As their own sites and store listings described them on 24 September 2026.
MyNetDiary is a full nutrition tracker with a GLP-1 plan that puts protein first on its dashboard, and a free database of more than two million foods, barcode and voice.
Shotsy is shots first: a free dose, site and side-effect log, with food kept as daily totals of calories, protein and water.
MeAgain logs meals by barcode, search or voice, and by photo on Premium, against protein, fiber and water goals, with a capybara companion and streaks.
Pep logs food by barcode or search, and by photo on Pro, against protein, fiber, calorie and water goals, with shots and pills on a mostly free plan.
All five side by side, with what each one’s free plan covers.
Questions
What is the best app to track protein on Ozempic?
The one you will keep using. If you would rather type a meal than search for it, Tilly counts the protein in a sentence and keeps your shot day next to it. If you want a big food database, MyNetDiary puts protein first on its dashboard. If the shots matter most and daily totals are enough for food, Shotsy. All of them are free to start, so a week on one tells you more than any list.
Is Tilly free?
Yes. Typed meals, the barcode scanner, the protein ring, Trends, the doctor report and Apple Health are free. Meals by photo, meals by voice and questions to Tilly are a few a week on Free; Premium raises those to hundreds a month.
How much protein does Tilly aim for?
It suggests 1.4 grams per kilogram of your goal weight, or of your current weight if you have not set a goal, rounded to the nearest 5 grams. You can move it anywhere between 1.2 and 1.6 grams per kilogram, or set the number your prescriber or dietitian gave you.
Does it work with Mounjaro, Zepbound and the Wegovy pill?
Yes. Tilly knows the weekly shots Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Zepbound, and the daily Wegovy pill and Foundayo, with each one’s schedule. Any other medication, such as Rybelsus, can be logged as another shot or pill.
Does Tilly tell me what to eat or what dose to take?
No. It counts what you log and shows what is left of your protein for the day. Your dose, and any change to it, stays between you and your prescriber.
